New Web Resources List

StudyBuddy's director decided to say yes when asked to be an Alumnae Admissions Representative for one of her alma maters. (It's one of those expenses-paid volunteer things.) A spin-off was taking the time to pull together some great resources for those who bent on impressing admissions offices. I got enough interested to investigate a few sites for families with younger kids too. Read more

Parents and teachers have been harping about junk food for quite a while. More recently, groups have formed to actually get the machines out of the schools and the greasy, low-quality nutrition out of school cafeterias. It's working! Read more

Sharing Some Good News on High Schools

Sometimes we have to wait a while for good news from our high schools. Lately, quite a bit has been coming in. There's news from Lowell, Leadership, and a new baby Balboa.

Heads up to parents of eighth-graders: application forms for high school will come out of the Educational Placement Center at 555 Franklin during the last week of October or the first week of November. Read more
