McAteer Parent-Teacher-Student Association is dissolving. There will probably be some kind of end-of-the-year event for the students and faculty. The PTSA and the School Site Council are working on the plans for this: we'll keep you posted.

As we told you in our last issue, School of the Arts is coming to occupy the site at Portola and O'Shaugnessey. Now still in its facility at 700 Font Boulevard, it has scheduled a Community Forum/Garden Party April 13th to design activities and events for next year; it asks for your input.

Principal Donn Harris reports that SOTA has accepted fourteen of the McAteer students , and asks SOTA students to welcome them and their families. He adds that the current timeline has the physical move taking place during the week of June 24th. He anticipates spending the summer forming work groups to help set up for the school year.

StudyBuddy recently took in SOTA's band performance at SF State's Knuth Hall. The polished, professional performance was impressive, and the music presented truly exciting.
