StudyBuddy received notice from the Community Alliance for Special Education (CASE) that they have reconfigured their staffing to respond to the new special education legal environment, now that school districts have folded their compliance function into their legal offices. CASE now retains an attorney. It has freed its service supervisor of advocacy duties in order to train volunteer-advocates, and to manage fee-generating consulting contracts. StudyBuddy also received notice from Schwab Learning that they are no longer making referrals to individual service-providers (we had been checked out by them and were pleased when they referred people to us).
